Doda, October 6,2025 : As part of the ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ initiative, an outdoor sports event was organised at Sanjay Arya Memorial Higher Secondary School, Kilhotran Bhalessa, aimed at promoting youth engagement, fitness, and community participation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and local youth, showcasing their skills in various track and field, team, and individual sports.
The program, conducted under the guidance of the District Administration Doda and the Department of Youth Services & Sports , focused on encouraging young people to adopt sports and physical activities as a way of life. Participants competed in volleyball, kabaddi, running races, and other athletic events, displaying great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Teachers and sports officials appreciated the energy, discipline, and teamwork shown by the students, emphasising that such initiatives help in identifying local talent and channeling youth potential toward state and national-level sports platform.
The event also included an awareness session highlighting the objectives of the Mera Yuva Bharat campaign, which seeks to empower young citizens through leadership, community service, and active participation in the nation’s development.
Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners and participants, inspiring them to continue pursuing excellence in sports and academics.
