Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra | Govt Reaches Each Doorstep in Pulwama | Empowering Locals with Schemes The District Administration Pulwama and the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Block Tral joined hands for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for the benefit of all officers, elected representatives, senior citizens, youth and the locals in Pulwama district. The main objective of this programme is to reach those people whom no one had reached till now. The basic objective is to create awareness among the local people about the Govt schemes. Also, to see whether the departments work with the set objective. There were many problems that no one asked about, locals said. We are thankful to the Government for organising programmes like these in every village where every villager can raise his voice to talk about the problem at hand. And action is being taken on time. An elderly Sardarji said he was grateful to the J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the Narendra Modi Government that the mobile Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra van reached his village in Tral to make them aware about Govt schemes. For the first time we saw officers coming to the people and asking what we need, said another senior. Tell us what is your problem and we will solve your problem, this is how officers are approaching poor people. We are thankful that the government has launched such a scheme which has helped people at the grassroots level who did not know where to go outside their door, observed a Tral resident. Today, the officers come in front of their small house and ask, “Tell me what is your problem”. I appreciate the Government of India for running such schemes in Jammu and Kashmir which benefit the poor people whom no one reached out before.
