We used to face great difficulty in cooking food on mud ‘chulhas’. We did not have wood and had to gather from outside. We used to fall ill because of the burning wood and smoke. With the PMUY Ujjwala scheme of the government, our women have been provided with gas, stove and cylinders. Now we can cook comfortably. Our cooking time has reduced and our men get food on time. We are very poor people and we are grateful to the government for giving us gas cylinder to take care of our basic need. Kamlesh said she also wanted to thank her Ward people who gave her the gas connection. This resolution of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to distribute whatever schemes are there for the beneficiaries through Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, authorities said. A campaign is going on to provide benefits to the poor mothers, sisters, farmers and the general public. Whether it is Kisan Credit Card, Health Card, Ayushman Bharat Card or SVANidhi Yojana, the benefits of the schemes being introduced in any area are reaching the poor people in J&K.
