Kupwara, August 13, 2025: A vibrant Tricolor Motorcycle Rally was organized from Kupwara to Tangdhar in Jammu and Kashmir, under the instructions of the Officer Commanding 109 RCC Beacon, Kupwara. The rally, held as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, showcased national pride and unity near the Line of Control (LoC). Participants, including local youth, security personnel, and officials, carried the national flag, raising slogans of unity and patriotism.The event aimed to promote national integration and honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
The 109 RCC Beacon, known for its critical role in maintaining connectivity through snow clearance and road development in the region, including the strategic Chowkibal-Tangdhar road, spearheaded the rally to foster a sense of national pride. The rally covered the scenic yet challenging route from Kupwara to Tangdhar, symbolizing resilience and solidarity in the border district.Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, lauded the initiative, emphasizing its role in inspiring youth and strengthening community bonds. The rally also highlighted the improved infrastructure and accessibility in the region, crediting the efforts of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and 109 RCC Beacon for ensuring smooth connectivity despite harsh weather conditions.
