TRAL,August 11, 2025 – The district administration of Pulwama organized a grand Tiranga Rally in Tral on August 11, 2025, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, ahead of India’s 79th Independence Day. Flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom, the rally saw enthusiastic participation from youth, students, elected representatives, senior citizens, civil society members, and Auqaf members, who filled the streets with the National Flag and patriotic spirit.
The Tiranga Rally, held under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, began at a key location in Tral and covered major routes, with participants proudly waving the Indian Tricolour and chanting slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” The event created a vibrant atmosphere, reflecting the unity and pride of the region in celebrating India’s independence. Students from various educational institutions played a significant role, adding to the rally’s energy and showcasing the involvement of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth.The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, driven by the Ministry of Culture, urges citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes from August 9 to 15, 2025, to honor India’s freedom and promote patriotism.
