Under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the new Jammu & Kashmir has transformed into a land of opportunity, growth, and unity. Jobs are being created, and economic assistance is reaching those who need it the most. This is no longer a place that embraces separatists, but one that embraces ordinary Kashmiris with warmth and dignity. Here, the hands of children no longer clutch stones — they hold pens, shaping their future through education. Schools, colleges, and universities remain open all year, ensuring uninterrupted learning.
The shutdown calendars once dictated from across the border have been replaced by schedules of national and international events, proudly issued by the administration. Life is now guided by festivals, conferences, sports, and development programs, not by strikes and fear.
Today’s Kashmiri youth are achieving remarkable milestones in innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. Their energy is channeled into start-ups instead of street violence. The air now echoes not with slogans of separatism, but with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” Just three or four years ago, there were villages in Pulwama where police and administration could not reach, and development work was a distant dream.
Yet, from those same places, thousands of young men and women came forward, carrying the Indian tricolour high in their hands. As the old wisdom goes: Some will try to reason with you; some will try to frighten you. But what is broken can be repaired. On this road, there may be robbers — obstacles in your path. Other things will also happen, as they always do. But the moment you live in is alive because of you.
This moment will never return. Do your duty with courage, and whatever comes, you will face it. This is the spirit of the new Jammu & Kashmir under LG Manoj Sinha — courage replacing fear, unity defeating division, and hope overcoming despair. The past no longer dictates the future; progress is now a living, breathing reality.
