Spring Buds Education Institute Holds Emotional Feet-Washing Ceremony to Honour Parents

Spring Buds Education Institute organised an emotional “Feet Washing Ceremony for Parents” to promote respect for parents, strengthen family values and instil moral and Islamic values among students. The initiative encouraged students to recognise the love and sacrifices of their parents and express gratitude through respect and service. Students washed the feet of their parents in a deeply emotional ceremony, leaving many participants visibly moved. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Spring Buds Education Institute, Shahnawaz Shafi Qureshi, said the institution’s effort was not limited to education and co-curricular activities but also focused on developing strong moral values among children. “Parent’s love is priceless. They are a treasure for their children, and once that treasure is lost, it can never be brought back. Almost everything in the world can be found again, but parents cannot,” he said. Another speaker praised the initiative, saying that inviting parents and having their feet washed was a commendable step at a time when the younger generation is increasingly becoming distant from moral values. He stressed that alongside academics, children must understand the sacrifices, love and importance of their parents. Qureshi also urged students to go to their parents, seek forgiveness, hold their feet and respect them, saying that honouring parents can change a person’s life and destiny.
