A new institute for children has opened in the remote areas of Kashmir, offering them the opportunity to learn tailoring and other skills. This video focuses on those remote regions of Kashmir where children previously had to travel to the city for education or training. The primary objective of establishing this institute in such a remote area is to provide local children with quality education and skill development right near their villages. Shah Najeeb, Managing Director said the aim was to open a training institute in village and remote areas of Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir so that children do not have to come from far away places to learn in Pulwama. The institute provides skill training in computers, tally, tailoring, mehandi art, etc. This institute focuses specifically on tailoring training to enable young people to become self-reliant. It is a significant initiative in the field of rural education, alleviating the financial burden on families who previously had to incur travel expenses to send their children to distant cities for training. The skill development program here is paving the way for a better future for the youth. A student Sakiya Manzoor said, she was not aware earlier that a computer centre was in her village. She was thinking of going to Anantnag or Srinagar to learn computers. With the establishment of the training institute here, it has become very easy for us as we do not have to go all the way to Pulwama. Another female student, Sumarya Manzoor is happy that she has taken admission and will be learning something at the training centre.
