Srinagar, July 14,2026- The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 has crossed another significant milestone, with the cumulative number of pilgrims surpassing 2.75 lakh after 24,259 devotees paid obeisance at the holy cave shrine on Tuesday.
According to official figures, the pilgrimage has witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees from across the country, reflecting deep faith and confidence in the arrangements made by the administration. The latest influx has taken the total number of pilgrims who have visited the sacred Himalayan shrine to over 2.75 lakh since the commencement of the annual Yatra.
Authorities have put in place extensive security, healthcare, sanitation, accommodation, transport and disaster management measures along both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes to ensure a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage. Medical teams, emergency response units, RFID tracking, weather monitoring and round-the-clock surveillance continue to support the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
Officials said the pilgrimage is progressing peacefully despite the challenging Himalayan terrain, with coordinated efforts by the Jammu & Kashmir Administration, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), security forces, health departments and volunteers ensuring seamless services for devotees.
The administration has advised pilgrims to follow all safety guidelines, remain updated on weather conditions and undertake the pilgrimage only as per the scheduled registration and official advisories.
The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra continues to witness a steady flow of pilgrims, reaffirming the spiritual significance of the revered cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.
