School children in Pulwama being educated at cinema hall on Children’s Day

On November 14, 2022, a happy ‘Children’s Day’ was celebrated in Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir. Tasaduq Hussain, Director Education said, we combined education and entertainment so that children get exposure and in the interaction with education dignitaries they obtain insights to prepare themselves for a better future. School going children in Pulwama were taken on Children’s Day to the newly opened cinema hall for a knowledge gain programme. The children in Pulwama watched a movie perhaps for the first time on the big screen. Along with the entertaining aspect of movies, the children are thankful to the government for giving them a platform to be knowledgeable about sports and education as well. People in Pulwama say, in the last 30 years, Pulwama had been facing a lot of strife and the people and children were the biggest sufferers. But thanks to the initiative by the LG government. the children of Pulwama are getting their due in education as well as entertainment.
