Save Youth Save Future Foundation gets appreciation from J&K LG Shri Manoj Sinha

JAMMU, JANUARY 27– Sh Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman of the Save Youth Save Future Foundation, met with Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhavan. During the meeting, he was accompanied by Ms. Anika Nazir, President of the Women’s Wing of the Foundation, and Mr. Mudasir Ahmed Dar, South Kashmir Zonal President of the Foundation.

Sh Bhat briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the ongoing initiatives of the Foundation, particularly focusing on its efforts to empower the youth and women of Jammu and Kashmir. The Chairman emphasised the importance of skill development programs and providing sustainable opportunities for young people to enhance their potential and contribute meaningfully to society. He also highlighted the Foundation’s outreach in various districts, especially in marginalized communities, where they have been working to uplift women through specialized training and empowerment programs.

During the meeting, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated the members of the Save Youth Save Future Foundation for their commendable work in the region. He lauded their dedication to social reforms, youth empowerment, and women’s welfare, recognising the Foundation’s substantial role in creating positive social change. The Lieutenant Governor also appreciated their recent achievements, including the receipt of the prestigious J&K Government Award for social reforms and empowerment.

Sh Wajahat Farooq Bhat expressed his gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for the support extended to the Foundation’s initiatives and sought further assistance in expanding their reach across the UT. He mentioned the importance of collaborations with government agencies and other organisations to further their impact and ensure the inclusion of all communities in the empowerment programs.

The meeting ended on a positive note with both parties expressing their commitment to working together for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth and women, particularly in areas where access to resources and opportunities has been limited.
