Kupwara, February 10, 2026:The Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 was formally launched in the Aspirational District Kupwara and Aspirational Block Keran, witnessing enthusiastic participation from officers of all line departments. The launch underscores the district administration’s collective commitment to achieving full saturation of key development indicators and strengthening last-mile service delivery.
During the programme, departmental commitments were highlighted to ensure targeted outcomes:
- Health Department: Intensification of preventive healthcare initiatives and TB control measures, aiming to achieve saturation of health indicators by 14 April 2026.
- ICDS: Saturation of nutrition, maternal, and child welfare indicators, ensuring comprehensive well-being.
- Education Department: Focused monitoring and timely interventions to achieve education-related targets.
- Animal Husbandry: Saturation of livestock vaccination and allied sector indicators, with special attention to remote and border areas.
The programme concluded with a unified pledge from all departments to uphold the legacy of Sampoornata Abhiyan 1.0 while working with renewed dedication for the success of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0. The initiative is expected to accelerate inclusive development, improve service delivery, and enhance socio-economic outcomes across Kupwara.
