Roads and bridges connecting remote villages in J&K’s Pulwama

We used to face a lot of troubles during snowfall in winters. People used to reach our villages in Tral, Pulwama with great difficulties, said a resident of a village located in a remote area of Tral in Jammu and Kashmir. Our area used to get cut off from the rest of J&K due to snowfall and floods. In the last 70 years, it is for the first time that we are getting connected with a road and a bridge. We are thankful to the administration and the Block Development for giving us the road, said villagers. During floods, our elders, mothers and sisters used to get stuck in the house during illness. We appealed to the government and thank God we have a road and bridge running over the waters to come and go safely.
