Rajouri ,December 8,2025 : A powerful message resonated across Rajouri today as the Rajouri Half Marathon 2025 witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens of all age groups. Runners took to the streets with the inspiring slogan — “हर कदम एकता के लिए, हर मील नशे के खिलाफ”, promoting unity and raising awareness against drug abuse.
The marathon, organised to strengthen community bonding and encourage healthy living, saw remarkable turnout from students, youth groups, senior citizens, and various local organisations. Participants displayed high energy and solidarity throughout the event.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, flagged off the run and emphasised that the initiative aims to foster a sense of togetherness while steering society toward a drug-free future. He lauded the community’s active involvement and highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in combating the menace of substance abuse.
The event concluded with appreciation for all volunteers and participants who helped make the marathon a symbol of hope, health and harmony in the region.
