In Jammu &Kashmir more than 10,000 students took part in a mega ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally at Sports stadium in Pulwama. The Mega Tiranga Rally is also being organised to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, India’s 75th year of Independence. The idea behind Har Ghar Tiranga activities is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and to promote awareness about the Indian national flag. A series of activities like rallies, debates, quiz, painting competitions and cultural programmes are being held to promote the campaign. Such events add more enthusiasm among the public and respect for Tiranga. The children of Pulwama are also happy to partake in functions and be associated with India’s glorious Tiranga.
