Thanks to the Prime Minister for the cease fire, now people in the village can move about freely without any fear. After the ceasefire, schools have seen more enrollment of children. Parents are sending their children to school. The villagers are also grateful to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha who has taken steps to strengthen the education system. Computers have been provided in each school. This has brought about a lot of positive changes and benefits for the children. In comparison to the earlier governments, a lot of changes are happening for the betterment of the people. In the technological era, computer labs have been established in this border village of Poonch. The children had stayed disturbed with the gunshots going around. After the ceasefire they can go to study peacefully and the teachers are also happy. The 123 children in the school give full attendance almost every day. And this is a good sign, say school staff.
