Poonch students attend awareness programme on cyber security

October is Cyber Security Awareness month. An awareness programme about cyber security was organised in schools by Childline Poonch in collaboration with National Development Youth Club. Subzaar Ahmed, Coordinator says, the Prime Minister’s dream of Digital India is getting realised. All the schemes such as UMANG are available online. The ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme is also running successfully with girls in Kashmir getting opportunities to study and they are excelling in every field. The school students of Poonch were made aware of cyber safety rules. In addition, they were sensitised about balanced use of social media. They were told that the mobile phones should be used mostly in regard to educational assistance. Students were motivated to use digitalisation for growth and development. Poonch students after the programme said that just as there are two sides to a coin so the mobiles should also be used carefully so that it helps rather than harms us.
