Polyhouse Farming Boosts Income for J&K’s Reasi Farmer with 95% Subsidy Support. Under Holistic Agricultural Development Programme, I had taken a Polyhouse. The Agriculture Department gave me 95% subsidy, said a farmer in village Bhaga, Reasi in Jammu & Kashmir. We grow off-season crops in the Polyhouse like cucumber, tomatoes, capsicum and beans, In one year, after taking out the labour component, we can save Rs 50,000. In this venture, we keep getting a lot of encouragement and guidance from the Agriculture Department.
