When it rained and snowed, the water would come inside and it would feel cold. Later the department people came, saw the condition of the house and lodged us under Modi ji’s scheme, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. I started installing the plinth, the first installment arrived and then the second installment arrived. The last installment also came. The total money received was around Rs 1 lakh sixty thousand with which I was able to build my house with the PM Awas Yojana Scheme. We are thankful to PM Modi ji who provided permanent houses to us poor people giving us relief from our ‘kuchha’ houses through the PM Awas Yojana scheme, narrated a poor person living in Kishtwar in J&K.
