Officials have advised beneficiaries to visit their nearest Kisan Seva Kendra or Common Service Centre (CSC) and complete their e-KYC before the deadline lapses. Farmers who fail to do so risk missing out on their upcoming instalment under the scheme, which provides eligible landholding farmer families with financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year, disbursed in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 every four months.

- OTP-based e-KYC: Beneficiaries can visit the official PM-KISAN website, navigate to the “Farmers Corner,” enter their Aadhaar number, and verify using an OTP sent to their Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Biometric e-KYC: Farmers without easy access to smartphones or reliable internet can visit their nearest Kisan Seva Kendra or Common Service Centre, where operators assist with biometric verification using Aadhaar details and fingerprint authentication.
Local officials have particularly encouraged farmers in remote and hilly parts of Doda district — where digital access can be inconsistent — to make use of Kisan Seva Kendras for in-person assistance rather than risk missed deadlines due to technical issues. Agriculture department staff have been directed to remain available at designated centres through the final days before the deadline to handle any last-minute rush, and additional manpower is reportedly being deployed at high-footfall centres to reduce waiting times for farmers.
