The tourism sector plays a crucial role in the economy of Kashmir Valley, providing livelihoods to thousands of people involved in hospitality, transport, handicrafts, and local businesses. Stakeholders in the tourism industry said the steady flow of visitors has helped boost economic activity across the region.
Authorities have been working to strengthen tourism infrastructure by improving connectivity, promoting lesser-known destinations, and organising tourism-related events to attract more visitors.
