Ashura, which is the 10th day of Muharram, is known for the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of Muhammad. In his message, LG J&K Shri Manoj Sinha prayed for peace and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir and urged people to be compassionate and work for the needy.
