I keep my focus on studies and along with it my interest is in sports, says Yasir Hamid, young Taekwondo player. Two years ago I joined Taekwondo. I won gold and silver medals in two states, three medals in districts and got selected for the nationals where I won a bronze medal, yasir said. His friends at school say Yasir pays attention to studies and after school hours practises Taekwondo. Yasir has raised the name of our school and town Banihal. It is a proud moment for the whole nation. Along with co-curricular activities, Yasir has given a good contribution in studies as well. He is a topper in his class. Yasir says his passion is to play for India and to represent India in the internationals. And to bring fame to his district Ramban and UT J&K.
