The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha flagged off a Mobile Gurukul that will move in rural areas of Jammu & Kashmir to propagate and promote Sanskrit language. He said, whenever Sanskrit programmes are held, one question rightly pops in our minds whether Sanskrit is a common language? He said, Sanskrit is a valuable element of our tradition. Sanskrit is our faith. It is also the centre of our social culture and our consciousness. But we could not make it our common language for the masses. It did not become the national language of our country. The Lt Governor added ,after 2014, the nation has been witnessing transformative changes. It is God’s intervention that the reawakening of ancient India in all dimensions has begun in India. Yoga has been adopted by the whole world. There can be differences of opinion on various subjects. But the value of yoga is such that the whole world is united on its completeness. There is worldwide emphasis on health and yoga.
