Meet J&K Tral’s Karate Prodigy Sehajpreet Singh
Karate Champion kid Sehajpreet Singh from Tral, Jammu & Kashmir was interested in sports since the age of ten. I observed boys doing Karate and I got ineterested, he said. And that’s how I statrted playing Karate at District level. At the Junior level I won gold medal. Then I got more chances to play.
His mother Surjeet Kaur said she was extremely proud of her son. He has brought glory to his village Tral, Jammu & Kashmir and India.
His father Gurmeet Singh said that his son Sehajpreet saw the game on You Tube and told his father that he would like to play that game. As his interest grew we also became interested. He played Nationals in Haryana and won the gold medal. Then his interset grew more, said his father.
His mother Surjeet Kaur said that her son wanted to play and we also got happiness in his victory. Sehajpreet was small and was going in the right direction so we thought why not.
After my selection in Haryana where I won gold, I was selected for Internationals where I won bronze. Now, I have to do well in future to bag gold, said Karate Champion Sehajpreet Singh from Tral, J&K.
