DODA, DECEMBER 5: A successful medical camp was organized at Village Panthan, located in the Medical Block Thathri, as part of the ongoing Block Diwas Programme by the District Administration Doda. The event saw an overwhelming turnout, with approximately 210 patients receiving medical screenings and services from a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
The camp offered a range of services, including general health check-ups and screenings for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Additionally, sputum samples for Tuberculosis (TB) testing were collected as part of the district’s ongoing health initiatives to address critical public health concerns.
The healthcare team was led by Dr. Ikhlaq, Dr. Mohammad Nadeem, Dr. Shazia Shakeel, Tariq Hussain (RBSK), Dr. Anamika, Dr. Mansoor Hussain, Rinku Devi, Pooja Devi, and Sharbang Singh, who worked together to provide essential health services to the local population.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda visited the camp to inspect the facilities and services provided to patients. He praised the efforts of the healthcare staff for their dedication and commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to the people of the region.
This initiative underscores the District Administration’s continued efforts to improve healthcare accessibility and raise awareness about important health issues in remote areas.
