The Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha visited the Jhelum Rajbagh Riverfront and wanted to be a part of the enjoyment people were getting from the place. There is a lot of work that is in progress, said Athar Amir Khan, CEO Srinagar Smart City. The LG got a review status about the right riverfront work, cafe, reading spot and monitored the work going on. The whole team has worked hard, including the labourers and contractors, the CEO Srinagar Smart City said. The G20 delegates had a great time and appreciated Srinagar. There is a lot of work that is still under progress, said Athar Amir Khan, the CEO. The Lal Chowk area, Presidency Road, M A Road, Batmaloo area, Old City area, among others are where work is going on, said the CEO. Work is also being done in the whole periphery around Dal lake. In a few months’ time, all these projects will be completed. Then the way people are enjoying the riverfront, they will be able to enjoy other spaces too, said CEO Srinagar Smart City, Athar Amir Khan.
