Srinagar, November 1,2025: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha addressed the ‘Self Reliant India Fund Outreach’ event held in Srinagar, aimed at empowering startups and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in Jammu and Kashmir.
The event, organised by the Ministry of MSME in collaboration with NVCFL, JKEDI, and the Department of Industries & Commerce, marked a significant step toward connecting J&K entrepreneurs with venture capital firms and institutional investors.
In his address, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated all partner organizations for the landmark initiative and emphasized the importance of bridging the funding gap for MSMEs and startups.
“We must leverage our existing strengths, enhance infrastructure, and build stronger linkages between J&K’s industrial ecosystem and national financial institutions to empower our entrepreneurs,” said LG Sinha.
He highlighted that sustained efforts are being made to nurture innovation, improve access to finance, and create a robust ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurship and self-reliance across the Union Territory.
The outreach event witnessed the participation of startup founders, MSME representatives, investors, and key government officials working toward accelerating industrial and economic growth in Jammu and Kashmir.
