LG e-Inaugurates Mega Health Camp in South Kashmir to Make Quality Healthcare Reach the Masses

A Mega Health Camp was e-inaugurated in South Kashmir. I am grateful to the Medical Health Department and the fraternity for supporting us at every hour of need, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. Whether it was during Covid or for Amarnath yatra, our health workers have served with full dedication and spirit of service. I am grateful to the doctors who have come from different parts of the country, LG said. The Medical Camp is beginning from Anantnag and will be held in South Kashmir’s Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama too. Specialised surgery will be done in this camp. More than two thousand patients have been registered in the beginning itself. Opthamology, general and laproscopic surgery, orthopaedic, ENT, plastic surgery, paediatric surgery, cancer surgery. The common man will benefit from this. Not only the country but the whole world appreciates the contribution of Rotary in your area, LG said. The Jammu Kashmir administration also tries that the public health services should reach the common man in a better manner. And quality living can be ensured for the people. And our department makes every effort to ensure quality living of the people. Due to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today there are seven new medical colleges, two AIIMS, two Cancer Institutes have been provided in Jammu & Kashmir. Many have got functional and many are in the process of getting functional. I’m sure they’ll be over soon, LG said. From the point of view of government health care, I would say that our infrastructure is much better.
