Kulgam, March 04, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan , chaired the monthly Narco Coordination Centre meeting , emphasising a zero-tolerance policy towards poppy and other illicit crop cultivation in the district. Khan directed officers to ensure strict enforcement and monitoring to eradicate such activities.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner urged all stakeholders, including administrative officials and community leaders, to work diligently towards achieving a drug-free Kulgam. Highlighting the vision of ‘#KhushalKulgam’ (Prosperous Kulgam), he stressed the importance of collective efforts in combating the drug menace and fostering a healthier, safer district.
The NCORD meeting is part of ongoing initiatives by the district administration to address drug-related issues, aligning with broader efforts to promote sustainable development and well-being in Kulgam.
