Kulgam, January 3,2026- In a strong show of community solidarity, residents of Khrewan and Chader in Kulgam came together with youth, civil society members, and police to organise a Drug-Free Awareness Programme.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among the youth. Participants emphasised the campaign’s key message: “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.”
Local leaders, activists, and law enforcement officials encouraged the community to actively protect the future of their youth, while pledging support for sustained awareness and prevention efforts. The programme highlighted the importance of collective responsibility, community engagement, and proactive intervention to combat substance abuse in the region.
