Muslims consider the Last Friday of Ramadan significant as it is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar. Prayers on this day are called Jumma Tul Wida which means Last Friday of Ramadan when Muslims gather in mosques to pray and seek blessings from Allah. Jumma means gathering and Wida means farewell. This day is marked to commemorate the farewell to the month of fasting. It fell this year on April 21, 2023. It is believed on this day the Messenger of Allah descends to earth and enters the mosque to attend to the prayers of the people. Those who spend time in worship on the last Friday of Ramadan will be protected from all evils.
