J&K’s Integral Contribution will Lead to India’s Historic Development in 2047 | LG Manoj Sinha

J&K’s Integral Contribution will Lead to India’s Historic Development in 2047 | LG Manoj Sinha I keep saying this again and again that in the last nine years there has been a big change not only in the political vocabulary of the country but also in the working culture of the country, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. And how things actually pan out on the ground is being felt by the common man of the country. It is also true that in the last nine-and-a-half years, thirteen-and-a-half crore people have come out of the poverty line, LG stated. The Government of India has been successful in providing tap water to the homes of more than 13 crore families. Houses have been built for more than four crore people who did not have houses. More than 50 crore people have been provided free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Like many people, our sister and mothers, whose health had deteriorated due to smoke, have got LPG connections. Under the Ujwala scheme, more than 40 crore people have got LPG connections across the country. Even in the last three-four years, we have tried every time to ensure saturation in all the schemes. LG said. But this time when Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra started, many people came out who had not got the connection of Ujjwala. And thus new people also got connection. A lot of people didn’t have a golden card. All the time, the Jammu and Kashmir administration keeps trying to satisfy all the social security schemes. Despite this, after every few months such people emerge who do not have access to facilities. I think that after this Vikasit Bhart Sankalp Yatra journey, these benefits can reach many people in the country who were deprived of them due to some reasons, LG said. Friends, it is true that in ancient times, our country contributed twenty-five percent to the world’s GDP. In some circumstances, due to the long period of slavery, we lagged behind. The self-confidence of the citizens of India has awakened again. And every citizen of the country, especially our sisters, girls and youth, is moving forward with the determination that India can definitely develop. India has to develop by 2047. I think India cannot develop without Jammu and Kashmir, LG added. Therefore, it is the moral responsibility of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to make a developed Jammu and Kashmir in that historic development journey. Only when Jammu and Kashmir becomes developed, India will become developed, LG said. I want to tell you that the population of Jammu and Kashmir is one percent of the entire country. But Jammu and Kashmir has made its special place in many programmes. Recently, in the programme of Meri Mati Mera Desh, the respected Prime Minister had given the first prize to Jammu and Kashmir on duty. And I want to tell you that even in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Jammu and Kashmir is still at the forefront, LG said. With the support of the main administration, I want to request all the resident of Jammu Kashmir that the way Jammu Kashmir stood at No. 1 position in the Meri Mati Mera Desh programme, in the same way, it should be the No. 1 in Viksit Bharta Sankalp Yatra programme. Now we all have to make a united effort for the days that are remaining for the culmination of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. We put up a stall here and gained a lot of information from the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, said a woman in J&K at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme. We are thankful to him as through these programmes he makes us aware of the new schemes of the government. The state used to get money from outside but we could not understand where it was going, a J&K resident said. Today, the youth of Kashmir can easily knock on the door of every officer. Officers listen to people’s complaints even if he is from a poor family. Earlier, we could not meet anyone and were asked to sit outside in every department. Today officers of every department are listening to even the smallest complaints. The people of Kashmir have got a lot of relief since Modi ji’s government came to power. This is the truth, said a man in Jammu & Kashmir.
