Ganderbal , February 14,2026-: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) today concluded the second batch of its 10-day Capacity Building Programme under Mission YUVA at the VIKALP Centre, Government Degree College Ganderbal.
A total of 14 candidates, including 2 female and 12 male participants, successfully completed the intensive training programme aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial skills and enhancing self-employment opportunities among youth.
The programme focused on key aspects of entrepreneurship such as business planning, financial literacy, marketing strategies, government schemes, and startup ecosystem awareness. Resource persons and industry experts guided participants through practical sessions, interactive discussions, and case studies to equip them with the knowledge required to launch and manage sustainable ventures.
Officials stated that the initiative under Mission YUVA seeks to nurture entrepreneurial talent at the grassroots level and create a culture of innovation and self-reliance among young aspirants. The training also aimed at encouraging participants to explore viable business opportunities aligned with local resources and market demand.
Participants expressed satisfaction with the programme, highlighting that the sessions helped them gain clarity on business ideas, funding avenues, and regulatory procedures.
JKEDI reiterated its commitment to continue organizing such capacity-building programmes across districts to empower youth, promote entrepreneurship, and contribute to economic growth in Jammu and Kashmir.
