J&K: Strawberry Farmer Earns Big & Creates Jobs with Govt Support. I have been growing strawberry for five years. Every year I increase my Kanal area. I am earning well and giving employment to 3-4 people, said a strawberry farmer in Jammu & Kashmir’s Udhampur area belonging to Thalora village. The Indian Government has provided a lot of facilities. I get Rs 13.000 subsidy per Kanal. I got Rs1 lakh 17000 as subsidy for 9 Kanals that I added this year. I got subsidy for Borewell from the Horticulture Department and for Backhouse. I am extremely grateful to our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Indian Government for bringing out such schemes for the youth to help them build their livelihoods, said the strawberry farmer in Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir. #kashmir #strawberryfarming #udhampur
