Srinagar , July 25, 2025The Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, in a recent statement, affirmed that the J&K Police is working in alignment with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s mantra of peace, accountability, and zero tolerance towards terrorism.
Speaking to the media after a high-level security review meeting, the DGP highlighted the evolving security landscape in Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated the force’s commitment to uprooting terrorism in all its forms. “We are following the clear and firm direction given by Hon’ble LG. The J&K Police is fully dedicated to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of citizens,” he said.
He added that recent successful anti-terror operations across different districts are a result of strong coordination between the police, Army, and other security forces. The DGP praised field officers and jawans for their bravery, professionalism, and swift response to terror threats.
The Police Chief also acknowledged the growing support from the local population, stating that the people of J&K are increasingly cooperating with law enforcement, which strengthens the collective effort to restore long-term peace and normalcy in the region.
The remarks reflect the ongoing efforts under the visionary leadership of LG Manoj Sinha, which prioritizes security, stability, and development as core pillars of progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
