Srinagar, October 31, 2025 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha spearheaded the grand celebrations of J&K UT Diwas at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) today, marking the 6th anniversary of Jammu and Kashmir’s reorganization as a Union Territory on 31st October 2019. Sinha also led the Run for Unity, a vibrant event symbolizing national integration and the spirit of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. A Glimpse into LG Manoj Sinha’s Profile
- Manoj Sinha, born on July 1, 1959, in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, is a seasoned civil engineer with B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from IIT (BHU) Varanasi. A three-time Member of Parliament from Ghazipur (2009–2019), he served as Minister of State for Communications (Independent Charge) and Railways in the Modi government. Appointed as the 2nd Lieutenant Governor of J&K on August 7, 2020, Sinha has played a pivotal role in the UT’s integration and growth.
