Jammu, December 30 ,2025-Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, unveiled J&K Bank’s Wall and Table Calendars for 2026 at Lok Bhavan, Jammu, celebrating the region’s natural and cultural heritage.
The Wall Calendar 2026 is themed “Rivers of J&K and Ladakh”, highlighting the vital role rivers play in sustaining life, ensuring food security, and supporting biodiversity in the Union Territories. The Table Calendar 2026 showcases “Historic Places”, reflecting the rich human heritage, ancient monuments, and archaeological treasures of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Speaking at the event, LG Manoj Sinha appreciated J&K Bank for selecting unique and meaningful themes that raise awareness about preservation of heritage sites, ancient monuments, and traditional practices. He emphasized the importance of protecting rivers and water bodies as essential ecosystems and urged community efforts to build resilience against climate impacts.
Shri Amitava Chatterjee, Managing Director & CEO of J&K Bank, stated that the 2026 edition honours the rivers that sustain life and the historic sites that define the shared legacy of the regions. The calendars also highlight public welfare initiatives like Mission YUVA and PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, alongside J&K Bank’s key products such as Housing Loans, Car Loans, Personal Consumption Loans, and Online Account Opening, reinforcing the Bank’s role as a development partner.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Shri Santosh D. Vaidya, Principal Secretary, Finance Department; Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the LG; Shri Sudhir Gupta, Executive Director; and Shri Sunit Kumar and Shri Imtiyaz Ahmad, Chief General Managers of J&K Bank.
