I congratulate you all on the inauguration of Srinagar Smart City projects for the better future of Srinagar and to ensure quality living, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. A few days ago, technology related projects were inaugurated. Keeping in mind that both heritage and development should go hand in hand, several projects have been inaugurated like: GIS Mapping and Digital Door Numbering in Srinagar City. These two revelations are proof that with wealth, prosperity and social justice, every citizen gets an opportunity to live in the atmosphere of progress and efforts are being made to ensure that. The Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a special contribution in all these schemes, LG said. I want to tell all of you that as long as we all are discharging this responsibility, we will try our best to work for the betterment in your life every single moment, LG said. I would like to congratulate the entire team of Srinagar Smart City. Srinagar Smart City Limited made heritage preservation, restoration of cultural heritage and beautification of cultural heritage. It has worked to inculcate a sense of love and pride for the city in the minds of both the new and the old generation. It is the need of the hour today to link our aspirations with the aspirations of national development. Live for the country, Work for the country! If we live and work with true resolve, with full honesty in our minds, then no one can stop the development of India and the development of Jammu and Kashmir, LG said. If every citizen has this kind of thinking, if there is a determination to take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights of progress, then surely we will achieve the destination together. ज़रा-सा तौर-तरीक़ों में हेर-फेर करो तुम्हारे हाथ में कालर हो, आस्तीन नहीं Everyone needs to stand in front of the mirror one day a week and ask themselves, did we fulfill what we had promised? And we are happy that many of our friends in the administration are fulfilling this promise due to which we are seeing this path of progress. The biggest enemy of progress here has been terrorism and separatism and that ideology. Jammu and Kashmir and especially Srinagar have had to bear the brunt of this ideology and its dire consequences for a long time. Today we have reached such a crucial stage where if we decide, we can live fearlessly as per our wish. With faith we can move forward. And these remaining destroyers, we can separate those elements of terrorism and separatism from the society. People of administration and forces will see them off from this earth, I want to say this to you, said the Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha.
