J&K LG flags off “Tiranga Shikara Rally” at Dal Lake in Srinagar

J&K LG Manoj Sinha flaggged off “Tiranga Shikara Rally” at Dal Lake in Srinagar to promote ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Hundreds of shikaras carrying tricolor rowed together in the Dal Lake instilling the spirit of nationalism and peace. The LG appealed to everyone to join the campaign by hoisting the tricolor in their homes from 13th to 15th August. The rally is part of the celebration commemorating the 75th year of India’s independence. The event was organised by the Youth Services and Sports Department of the UT.
