Srinagar, July 22, 2025. The Jammu and Kashmir administration, led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, has launched a new web portal for families affected by terrorism. The Home Department, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre, created this platform to speed up relief, job placements, and other necessary support for terror victim families throughout the Union Territory. The portal serves as a real-time, district-based database that documents and maintains information on every affected household. This effort shows the administration’s commitment to healing the long-lasting effects of terrorism by offering timely help and overdue justice. “I personally supervise the resolution of every single case throughout the UT,” the Lieutenant Governor stated, emphasizing the dedication to restoring dignity and justice for those impacted by militancy.
A Unified Gateway to Justice and Healing. The portal aims to reduce bureaucracy and connect families to ex-gratia payments, compassionate job postings, and various welfare schemes. Data comes from Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Sopore, and other districts, allowing case officers and families to track, verify, and resolve claims in one secure location. The administration sees this portal as a caring bridge that transforms grief into meaningful support while sending a clear message: the struggles of every terror victim household matter to a government that will not forget.
