J&K Farmers Able to Solve Their Needs With Kisan Credit Card | A Boon for Agricultural Prosperity We planted trees in our land. Often we faced problems as we did not have money for cutting, fertilizer and medicines. The government’s Kisan Credit Card scheme (KCC) came handy in which the government gives loan at a very nominal rate. Through the KCC, I got a loan of Rs I lakh and seventeen thousand from the J&K Bank on behalf of the Horticulture Department. Because of which today I can add fertilizer to my trees and get it dug, due to which the yield also increases and we benefit, said a farmer in Jammu & Kashmir. So this is a good scheme and we are grateful to the government. With this, our financial condition improved. Along with us, many people have taken KCC and have taken loans on it. It charges 3% interest if you return it timely. This is our security because of which we are successful. And we will do even better work in the days to come with Allah’s grace, said the farmer availing the Kisan Credit Card scheme in J&K.
