Srinagar, 23 September 2025: Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah chaired a Cabinet meeting at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, where several important decisions concerning governance, development, and public welfare were taken.
Officials said the meeting focused on initiatives aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency, infrastructure development, and socio-economic progress across the Union Territory. Key discussions included policy implementation, development projects, and measures for public service delivery.
The Chief Minister emphasised the need for transparent governance, effective coordination among departments, and timely execution of developmental projects. Officials confirmed that resolutions passed during the meeting would contribute to improved infrastructure, better service delivery, and overall regional development.
The Cabinet meeting also reviewed ongoing schemes and proposed new initiatives to accelerate economic growth, health services, education, and employment generation in Jammu and Kashmir.
