J&K Chief Minister launches official website for Khelo India Winter Games 2025

Jammu, March 04, 2025- Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah unveiled the official website for the Khelo India Winter Games 2025, marking a significant step toward promoting winter sports in the region. The launch took place at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu, with the event attended by key officials and dignitaries.

Expressing his enthusiasm, CM Omar Abdullah stated, “Delighted to launch the official website for Khelo India Winter Games 2025! This platform will serve as a one-stop destination for all event updates, schedules, athlete insights, and more. Looking forward to an exciting celebration of winter sports in Gulmarg!” The website, accessible at kwig2025.com, is designed to provide real-time information and comprehensive details about the upcoming games.

The Khelo India Winter Games 2025, scheduled for March 9–12 in Gulmarg, will feature four thrilling snow sports: Alpine Skiing, Ski Mountaineering, Snowboarding, and Nordic Skiing. Initially set for February, the event was postponed due to insufficient snowfall but is now poised to proceed following recent fresh snow in the region. Over 300 athletes from across India are expected to compete, showcasing talent and boosting the area’s reputation as a premier winter sports destination.
