SRINAGAR, August 15, 2025 – In a strategic move to expand its retail business beyond Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Bank has entered into tie-ups with two reputed builders in the Tricity region, Amayra Sky City and Amayra Trillium, both located in prime areas of Kharar, Mohali. The agreements, formalized at the bank’s Cluster Office in Mohali, aim to facilitate hassle-free home financing for customers seeking properties in these high-potential housing projects. The tie-up ceremonies were attended by GM & Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta, Zonal Head (Kathua) Suresh Choudhary, and Cluster Head (Mohali) Vishal Pandoh, alongside senior representatives from the builder groups. Speaking at the event, Ashok Gupta emphasized the bank’s commitment to tapping into key retail housing markets outside J&K. “These collaborations are part of our strategy to offer customers convenient financing solutions on competitive terms. With prime projects like Amayra Sky City and Amayra Trillium, we aim to make homeownership in Tricity an achievable reality for many,” he said.
The partnerships enable customers to access seamless home loan facilities across J&K Bank’s network, with quick approvals and competitive interest rates. Gupta added, “By joining hands with trusted builders, we want to make it easier for families to own quality homes at the right price, with affordable EMIs”. The initiative targets customers, particularly from J&K and Ladakh, looking to invest in residential properties or holiday homes in the Tricity area.
This move builds on J&K Bank’s earlier collaborations in Mohali, including tie-ups in May 2023 with three builders—East Avenue Infracom (Nirwana Heights), Omni Pacific Colonizers (Amayra Luxury One), and Ubber Realty (Ubber Mew Gates)—to support similar housing projects in Kharar. The bank has also expanded its builder tie-ups to other regions like Shimla, Dharamshala, and Zirakpur, reflecting a broader strategy to enhance customer convenience in the housing sector.
The collaborations have been praised as a win-win for customers, bankers, and builders, offering assured delivery, preferential rates, and waived charges for J&K Bank customers. Cluster Head (Mohali) Iftikhar Abdullah urged builders to ensure wide publicity and preferential treatment for the bank’s clients, reinforcing the focus on customer-centric services.
