J&K Bank MD & CEO visits Pulwama’s Lassipora encouraging youth to start new avenues of employment

The MD & CEO of J&K Bank, Baldev Prakash along with his top management and team looking after the credit and digital division, for the first time, visited Lassipora village in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir. The J&K Bank assured the Lassipora residents that it will finance all the schemes of the government with an open heart. There are many schemes in which collateral loans are free, the bank informed. It was a highly positive and encouraging meeting said officers that the J&K bank top management came and open discussions took place. The J&K team visited top industries and CA stores (Cold Storage facilities) where it had invested. The CA stores give employment to 200 people. People can come forward and start generating employment for others in this season. If 10 more CA stores get functional. Then around 2000 youth will get employed. The MD & CEO J&K Bank said that we requested entrepreneurs to set up new CA stores so that agriculturists are benefitted and new opportunities are created for employment. The J&K Bank visited Lassipora with the intention of encouraging the youth to start new avenues of employment. J&K Bank MD &CEO said, the PM’s Rozgar Yojana and PM’s Employment Guarantee Programme and the State government’s scheme like Mumkin have been created to set up new employment opportunities for the youth. On January 26th, J&K Bank along with the UT government had started a big campaign under which around 90,000 people were provided employment opportunities which exist in all the schemes. It was a big step by the J&K Bank which has given a gift to the youth in the Union Territory. The MD & CEO said do not look at the schemes, whatever you think is best for you, do that and the funding requirement will be provided by the bank.
