Jammu, December 20,2025-The Jammu Smart City project has achieved a major milestone by winning three national-level awards, bringing laurels to Jammu and Kashmir and highlighting the city’s steady progress in urban transformation, innovation, and citizen-centric development.
The awards were conferred in recognition of Jammu Smart City’s exemplary performance in areas such as urban infrastructure development, smart governance, technology-driven public services, and sustainable city planning. The achievement reflects the collective efforts of the administration, Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL), and various stakeholder departments working towards making Jammu a modern, inclusive, and resilient urban centre.
Officials said the national recognition underscores Jammu’s successful implementation of Smart City Mission initiatives, including improved road infrastructure, integrated command and control systems, beautification projects, digital governance platforms, and enhanced public amenities.
