ITBP Mountaineer Anjali Devi receives grand welcome in Kathua after conquering Mount Everest

Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir: A jubilant reception was accorded to ITBP mountaineer Anjali Devi as she returned to her native village in Hiranagar, Kathua, after successfully scaling Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak.

Family members, local residents, officials, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate her extraordinary achievement, welcoming the accomplished mountaineer with flowers, cheers, and traditional festivities. The homecoming marked a proud moment not only for her village but for the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Anjali Devi’s successful ascent of Mount Everest is a testament to her determination, resilience, and unwavering commitment. Her achievement has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir and serves as a powerful inspiration for aspiring sportspersons and adventure enthusiasts across the region.
