Indian Army Rescues Himalayan Ibex in Baramulla, Hands It Over to J&K Wildlife Authorities. The Indian Army in Jammu & Kashmir has rescued a Himalayan Ibex wild goat in Boniyar, Baramulla. They handed over the wild goat to the Wildlife Department which informed the police about the recovery of a wild goat. After the completion of formalities, the wild goat was taken under the care of the Wildlife Sanctuary Lachipora in Baramulla district. Officials at the sanctuary said that the Animal Husbandry department was called for a doctor and the animal’s treatment was done. We will see whether it needs to be sent to Limber Wildlife Sanctuary in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. The officials showed how the upper regions in Boniyar were covered in snow and the wild goat probabbly came down where there was greenery to feed itself. The wild goat was currently not in a position to move. When it is in good health we will set it free, informed officials at the Lachipora wildlife sanctuary.
