Indian Army organises yoga session near LoC in Poonch ahead of International Yoga Day

Poonch, June 19,2026- Ahead of the celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21, the Indian Army organised a special yoga session at Gulpur Ground near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, promoting the values of health, wellness, and harmony among the local population.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Army personnel, ex-servicemen, and local residents, who gathered to perform various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors. The session aimed to raise awareness about the physical and mental health benefits of yoga while encouraging people to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
